Fixing methods

Panels can be fixed directly to a flat, dry wall using shower panel adhesive, or mounted onto a wooden batten frame. When fixing to wooden battens, use staples, panel pins, nails, or screws through the backplate fixing tongue. Strap battens every 30 to 40cm in the opposite direction to the panel assembly. When fixing to ceilings, always fix to a wooden batten frame and do not use adhesive as the sole fixing method.

Installation notes

• Start with your chosen end moulding, such as an end cap U, internal, external, or scotia
• Insert the tongue side of the first panel into the moulding
• Continue inserting each subsequent panel tongue into the groove of the previous panel
• Use PVC mouldings to finish all corners and ends
• Seal all panel joints, profiles, and ends in wet areas with decorative PVC silicone sealant

Cutting

• Precision handsaw: cut with the decorative face upwards
• Electric saw: cut with the decorative face downwards

Maintenance

• Clean with a mild non-abrasive cleaner containing an anti-bacterial agent
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach
• Do not expose to direct sunlight or temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius

Frequently asked questions

How many panels do I need? Each panel covers 0.675 sqm, so divide the wall or ceiling area in square metres by 0.675 and round up, allowing a little extra for cuts.

Can these panels be used in a shower? Yes. The PVC core is fully waterproof, and all joints, profiles, and ends should be sealed with PVC silicone sealant in wet areas.

Can I fit them over existing tiles? Yes, provided the surface is flat, dry, and sound, panels can be adhered directly over tiles using shower panel adhesive.

Do I need special tools? No. A precision handsaw or electric saw, adhesive or fixings, and a sealant gun are enough for a standard DIY installation.
